About your role
As the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will lead the end‑to‑end indirect procurement function for Suntory Beverage & Food Malaysia, while also supporting sourcing activities across the South Cluster (Malaysia & Singapore). You will drive governance, optimize procurement processes, build agile sourcing strategies, and deliver value across key spend categories such as POSM, premiums, logistics, and other indirect materials. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to support smooth procurement operations, supply assurance, cost efficiency, and ensure adherence to established processes.
What You'll Do
Indirect Procurement Strategy
- Lead sourcing activities, establish timelines, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
- Manage supplier selection, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and build preferred supplier lists.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to identify sourcing needs and supplier capabilities.
- Develop agile, analytics‑driven sourcing approaches to evaluate scenarios, risks, and business impact.
- Build and manage strong supplier partnerships to support long‑term sourcing strategies.
Governance & Compliance
- Define and implement procurement policies for all indirect procurement activities.
- Support and optimize system processes (e.g., SAP, COUPA) and procurement‑to‑pay governance.
- Ensure compliance with chart of authority and P2P policies.
- Drive awareness and adherence to procurement standards across the organization.
Business Support
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient ordering processes.
- Coordinate with Finance (AP) and vendors to resolve invoicing issues.
- Troubleshoot system errors with IT/System Administrators and support continuous improvement.
- Support regional projects related to indirect procurement and P2P enhancements.

What You need to be successful
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.

Ability to think strategically, collaborate effectively, and contribute to continuous improvement. Able to work proactively and adapt to evolving business needs

Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, COUPA) or ability to learn new digital tools quickly
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

Experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within FMCG or similar fast‑paced industries. Candidates with equivalent skills developed through project-based work or transferable industry experience are also encouraged to apply
