About your role

As a Commercial Excellence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic planning, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration across Malaysia and Singapore. You’ll lead initiatives in Revenue Growth Management, category strategy, and in-store excellence to optimize profitability and elevate commercial performance. This role bridges Sales, Finance, and Marketing to ensure integrated execution and agile course correction across channels.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of Commercial Excellence strategies across channels and markets.
  • Apply RGM levers—Price, Pack/Price Architecture, Mix, Promotion, and Trade Investment—to drive sustainable growth.
  • Design and execute in-store visibility frameworks using the 5Ps and PICOS (Picture of Success) model.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and ensure agile execution.
  • Analyze financial performance and develop pricing guidelines to balance profitability and competitiveness.
  • Coach and upskill execution teams across markets to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster innovation and experimentation through shopper-centric approaches and category visioning.

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in FMCG, with a strong background in Commercial Excellence, RGM, or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in category management, shopper marketing, and strategic planning.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent influencing and networking abilities across all levels of the organization.
  • Business acumen with a holistic view of commercial performance.
  • Willingness to travel and engage in Gemba activities across markets.
