Assistant Brand Manager

Job Summary

The Assistant Brand Manager for BRAND’S Essence of Chicken portfolio functions to provide analytical and administrative support to the brand portfolio lead and assist to plan and coordinate in the day-to-day operations of brand marketing for the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy & Planning: Ensure that BHR strategies and plans align with and achieve brand targets and objectives.

  • Campaign Development: Develop brand campaigns based on compelling consumer insights. Ensure that the right media strategies, plans, and investments are in place to deliver brand campaigns on time and within budget.

  • Brand Performance Analysis: Understand the drivers and detractors of the brand, including competitive performance, to drive the brand forward.

  • ATL & BTL Brand Activations: Manage all ATL (Above The Line) and BTL (Below The Line) brand activations, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and agency partners.

  • Support for BRAND’S Essence of Chicken (BEC): Assist the line manager in achieving strategies, plans, and activities for the BRAND’S Essence of Chicken (BEC).

  • Digital & Social Media Activation: Collaborate with the line manager to coordinate and execute digital and social media activations for BEC, including managing KOL (Key Opinion Leader) programs and digital content creation.

  • BTL Strategy & Execution: Assist in BTL strategy and manage the end-to-end process of all BEC BTL activations, including developing NCP (New Category/Product) programs, BTL communication materials, sampling activities, and other activations.

  • Budget Management: Ensure timely reporting of monthly accruals and accurate tracking of brand A&P (Advertising & Promotion) spend within the aligned budget limits.

  • Procurement & Financial Compliance: Responsible for raising PR/PO (Purchase Requisition/Purchase Order) and performing GR (Goods Receipt) on time according to SOPs, as well as closing WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) evaluations on time.

Reporting To: Senior Brand Manager (Health Enrichment)

Team Structure: Sole Contributor (No direct reports)

Skills and Experience

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in brand management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
    • Experience in managing both ATL and BTL  marketing activities.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.

Education

Bachelors in Marketing or Business Administration
