About your role

As our Assistant Regional Sales Manager, you will support the Regional Sales Manager in driving commercial performance across the Kelantan market. Based in Kota Bharu, you will travel across Kelantan weekly to oversee sales execution, distributor management, and GT channel growth. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate forecasting, efficient trade spend management, and strong marketplace execution to achieve our sales and distribution objectives

What You'll Do

  • Support the planning and execution of region trade strategies to deliver sales growth
    Work closely with Preferred Distributors (PDs) to drive sales targets, stock availability, and healthy inventory levels.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights to improve distribution, visibility, and value per outlet.
  • Coordinate promotional activities, display executions, and trade marketing plans with PDs and internal teams.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure strong GT execution and quality of outlet coverage.
  • Support monthly business reviews with PDs and collaborate across supply chain, demand planning, and trade marketing.
  • Assist in managing trade spend efficiency and ensuring forecasting accuracy.
  • Contribute to talent development, team morale, and high-performance culture within the GT team.

What You need to be successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG experience in General Trade, with proven performance in managing GT channels or distributors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data, forecast accurately, and drive sales initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills—positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience leading or supporting field sales teams and trade execution.
  • Strong knowledge of route-to-market, trade spend management, and GT operations..
  • Comfortable traveling within Kelantan at least once a week.
