About your role

As a Area Sales Executive, you will drive sustainable sales growth and strengthen Suntory’s presence within the designated Kota Kinabalu area. You will work closely with Preferred Dealers (PDs), retailers, and internal cross‑functional teams to execute trade strategies, optimize operations, and build strong market execution. This role also leads and develops the exclusive sales force to ensure high performance and operational discipline.

What You'll Do

Sales & Market Development

  • Drive sales growth across key channels (LSM, LKA, provision stores, CVS, F&B outlets).
  • Identify new business opportunities and capitalize on market intelligence.
  • Strengthen relationships with PDs and retailers.


Operational Excellence

  • Lead, guide, and monitor the exclusive sales force to ensure efficient field execution.
  • Develop, plan, and execute Permanent Journey Plans for presellers.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and ensure optimal POSM placement and usage.


Trade Spend Management

  • Manage trade spending efficiently and ensure alignment with sales performance.
  • Verify, monitor, and process trade spend claims and trade returns.

Training & Engagement

  • Conduct on‑field and classroom training for the sales team.
  • Communicate Suntory’s vision, mission, and brand values.

Asset & Execution

  • Ensure compliant and effective placement of chillers by presellers.

What You need to be successful

Essential

  • Preferably a Business graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry.
  • Demonstrated success in independently managing customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong team player with a positive, results‑oriented attitude.

Desirable

  • Experience working with distributors or managing field sales teams.
  • Familiarity with trade marketing execution.
