Currently studying in a University or in an Engineering school, you have a strong interest in R&D and, more specifically in Regulatory Affairs for the agri-food sector.
Ideally, you had an initial experience in Regulatory Affairs through an apprenticeship or an internship.
Your background has enabled you to acquire notions of project management and risk management.
You are fluent in English and have excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact and build effective relationship with people.
You are known for your thoroughness, organisation and attention to detail.
YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the Packaging Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will join a team of 12 people based in various European countries.
As an R&D Regulatory Affairs - Packaging Intern, you will contribute to projects aimed at ensuring packaging safety and compliance (Food Contact regulations and environmental requirements). You will collaborate with different departments : Packaging, Procurement, Quality, etc.
Your main tasks will involve :
Assessing the risks associated with substances of concern, including NIAS, and proposing monitoring and action plans
You will work on the identification of chemical substances non-intentionally added (NIAS) likely to have an impact on packaging safety and circularity.
You will realize a scientific monitoring of associated health risks (toxicological and safety aspects). You will also work on a legislative monitoring of current regulations and new assessments of the safety and impact of chemical substances on packaging (PPWR, ECHA, REACH).
You will contribute to impact analysis on the packaging portfolio for substances likely to be restricted from the point of view of food safety or the circular economy.
Packaging compliance
You will contribute to regulatory monitoring and internal communication on forthcoming regulations : you will monitor regulatory changes applicable to materials intended for food contact, ensuring that regulatory activities are carried out correctly in liaison with the Packaging, Purchasing, Quality and Sustainable Development teams.
You will contribute to check the conformity of our primary and secondary packaging : you will manage the files for the various materials and ensure that the regulatory documentation is followed up and received correctly.
You will be in charge of the regulatory documentation : you will be responsible for updating internal regulatory documentation in line with legislative amendments.

YOUR PROFILE
- Currently studying in a university or an engineering school, you are preparing a Master degree with a specialisation in Food and/or Packaging. Ideally, you had an initial experience in Regulatory Affairs through an apprenticeship or an internship.
- You are curious, ingenious and pragmatic.
- Your ability to summarise and analyse will enable you to work independently.
- Fluent in English. French is a plus.
Internship to start as soon as possible for a period of 6 months, based at the Suntory Beverage & Food France office in Neuilly-sur-Seine (92).
