Procurement Manager in Logistics

The role

As a Procurement Category Manager for Logistics for Suntory Beverage and Food you will report to the Indirect Procurement Director Europe and you will daily work and manage two senior buyers.

Your role will have four mains accountabilities:

Firstly, you will work on cost optimisation/ Performance reporting & Budgeting. That includes create, maintain and promote the standard tendering process in all Suntory Beverage and Food Europe BU; to manage reporting and communication; to develop business cases on specific supply chain key topics to support decision making process and transformation projects our to work on accountable for setting budget and MTP assumptions for categories, etc.

Secondly, you will work on Market insights, strategies development and business partnering. On this context, you will develop and implement complete sourcing/procurement strategies for each part of the portfolio and drive implementation throughout  in alignment with business objectives. Furthermore, you will ensure alignment within markets agenda for Procurement strategies; you will lead cost reduction initiatives in line with strategies and business needs; evaluate total value chain of own categories to optimize & define the best sourcing procurement process; follow up market evolutions regularly to anticipate new risks & opportunities and support Global Procurement transformation , liaising with stakeholders and delivering best in class procurement support as part of the implementation plan.

Thirdly, you will work on Compliance, Supplier Performance & risk management. That means that you will develop appropriate supplier relationships in alignment with the strategies; you will develop standards for the categories through common KPIs / quality compliance and/or tenders. Also, you will support the business stackholders with the accurate supplier evaluation process and monitoring; maintain risk assessment criteria or also contribute to continuous improvement, etc.

 

Finally your daily work will include to work in continuous Improvement, Innovation & Sustainability. You will daily develop a business partnering relationship with key stakeholders to support Innovation; actively participate with Procurement DIrector into driving team efficiencies and development; define and follow a pipeline of cost improvement or proavtively support the organisation to progress on sustainable sourcing ambitions and deliverables.

 

Skills and Experience

University degree level, technical, economical or with a procurement specialization.

Purchasing experience of at least 8 years.

Strong competencies within the logistics area.

IT tools: excel, ppt, etc.

Languages: fluent in English, French. Spanish is a plus

Time to travel: Up to 50% 

 

The role is a perm contract and it will be based in our Neuilly-Sur-Seine offices.
