New Product Developer Associate Scientist H/F

Your academic background and experience gave you some knowledge on formulation and a good understanding of the NPD process. 

 

You are a real team player and have demonstrated your ability to be part of a team.   

 

You have experience working in an international context, and you are comfortable using both French and English in your daily activities.  
 

THE ROLE

As a New Product Developer Associate Scientist, you will manage different topics :

 

INNOVATION AND RENOVATION
With the support of the line manager, you will lead and coordinate some specific projects. You will be responsible for the delivery development of new products on time in full. Supported by the line Manager, you will have to create recipes of compounds, emulsions, flavour mixes and finished products, and develop manufacturing instructions to be implemented in concentrates and bottling plants. This will permit you to acquire technical expertise through delivery of new formulations. You will have to execute scientific / technical work on development projects. You will support any production required (Intermediates & finished products).

 

Supported by the line Manager, you will have to provide technical support to strategic projects, cost savings and value optimization programs, and ensure documentation pertaining to any project, formulation or idea is captured and put in place within the Suntory Beverage and Food Europe database. You will reliably produce samples in the lab and responsible for obtaining an appropriate record production of samples and analytical results. You will proceed to analytical validation and recording of samples or batches made in the lab.

 

With the support of the line manager, you will have to write and review procedures, instructions, and guidelines relevant to the NPD process and equipment in the lab. You will assist and support the continuous improvement of the NPD organization, processes and Way Of Working, and will report any significant variation and faults to the area owner and line Manager.

 

LABORATORY TASKS
You will bring support to Lab Assistants for the good order in the laboratory, the use of equipment, cleaning and schedules, quality systems and procedures / processes. You will independently operate the lab equipment required for NPD delivery. You will create, maintain and monitor the lab cleaning and equipment maintenance schedules. You will also have to maintain the records of ingredients, processes and procedures for full traceability of all products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a food-related science field (Food Technology or Agricultural Engineering).
  • Ability to organize all the different tasks relevant to the NPD process and laboratory performance.
  • Basic knowledge of the different aspects of beverage design and manufacture.
  • Seek continuous improvement. Delivery orientation and communication skills
  • Fluency in French and English, Spanish is an advantage.
