Job Responsibilities
As a Buyer Ingredient (additives) you will source and negociate the ingredients raw materials needed for the productions of finished goods in our 4 business units while managing timing, quality, sustainability and costs in line with functional, business, region and Suntory objectives.
You will daily monitor and optimize procurement strategy of your ingredients subcategories and build and manage a suppliers panel.
Firstly you will daily work on budget and cost optimisation and performance reporting. That means you will build/structure and organise tenders. So as a good negociator, you will manage negociations on all the terms & conditions including prices review with manager support. Furthermore, you will deliver financial targets for the portfolio, recommend budget standard prices for your subcategories and ensure appropriate reporting, etc.
Secondly, your role will includ to work on market insights and strategies improvement. To do so, you will follow up market evolutions, identify to stake holders relevant market information and innovation, you will bring and promote relevant market information and innovations, you will analyse muture market impacts on additives and you will develop alternative coverage policies, and you will keep alert and anticipate and identidy relevant risks, etc.
Thirdly you will work on quality and risk management. That includes hold regular BRM with suppliers, improve quality of top offenders, prepare and contribute to suppliers bi-annual reviews, look for alternative sourcing, etc
Finally your role involves the fact to work for innovation, in partnership with your Catman. You will come up and follow a pipeline of cost out and you will be an active member of procurement / R&D / marketing community.
Skills and Experience
- A University degree level, technical or economical
- A first Purchasing/supply chain experience
- A Procurement or CSR specialization is a +
- Knowledge and experience of the relevant industry sector is a +
- Excel, PPT & Procurement IT tools
- Fluent in English, French & Spanish is a +
