The Opportunity
This role is crucial in managing and organising the engineering inventory to ensure our engineering teams have the necessary equipment.
The hours for this role would ideally be Monday – Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm.
What you’ll be doing
- Hand pick, receive, store and distribute engineering stock
- Maintain accurate records and ensure inventory master data is accurate and reviewed periodically to align with stakeholder requirements
- Ensuring purchases are processed through the correct approval process and generating PO’s
- Working with maintenance teams to ensure the procurement and stock levels are managed and reviewed periodically, to optimize inventory holdings
- Placing orders for required stock in a timely manner
What's in your toolkit?
- Experience in a similar inventory role such as a pick packer/storesperson
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data
- Understanding of purchasing – would be beneficial or an eagerness to learn
- Collaborative approach and ability to work as park of a team
- You will be a problem solver and solutions focused
- Ability to prioritise time and easily manage multiple tasks
