What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

The Quality Technical Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the Wiri Operations site delivers exceptional beverage quality and performance including the introduction of all change such as NPD and new processes.

  • Ensure that overall Laboratory management standards, equipment, training and accreditations are adhered and improved.
  • Lead and manage a team a high performing team (7 direct reports and 18 indirect)
  • Build capability within our people to champion a quality first mindset.
  • Internal IMS and non-conformance audit management, including resolution of gaps identified.
  • Lead the sites implementation of New Products.
  • Contribute to and help deliver the quality strategy for the Wiri site.

About you | Nō hea koe

  • Relevant tertiary degree (engineering/science) or Proven experience leading a beverage manufacturing line/facility or managing site quality
  • Strong technical knowledge of quality standards and quality auditing within a highly regulated environment
  • Previous experience leading a high performing team
  • Strong stakeholder management at all levels with the ability to drive quality initiatives and build capability within our people
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies
