We have an opportunity for Operators to join our Manufacturing, Supply Chain team in Wiri.
The purpose of this position is to safely and effectively operate packaging equipment across all assigned workstations, taking personal ownership of safety, quality, standard work, and performance.
The role is accountable for operating to standard, identifying and escalating abnormalities, stopping the line when required, and contributing to continuous improvement to achieve production, quality, and waste targets.
Our Wiri site is about to about to go through some significant upgrades where we will be investing in equipment and the education of our people to support our growth and ability to best in class.
We need ambitious operators that are eager to learn and grow their careers as we go on this exciting journey.
Here are some key responsibilities of the role:
- Utilise various Beverage processes and or high-speed Automated Packaging Equipment to execute our targets in accordance with our Manufacturing Plan
- Perform daily process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency environment and autonomous maintenance
- Conduct autonomous and corrective maintenance to ensure efficiency and improve the lifespan of our equipment
- Perform trouble shooting and structured problem solving
- Ensure all activities are performed with safety front of mind and any incidents correctly reported
Please note this role does involve shift work, including overnights.

- Trades experience – you may be a current apprentice, studying or an experienced tradesperson looking for a change or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- Automation experience would be highly regarded – or a desire to learn
- A safety-first attitude you will always ensure we are operating safely, and any hazards or incidents are correctly reported
- A continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to easily pick up new technologies and eagerness to learn
