What is the opportunity? | He aha te kōwhiringa?

The purpose of this position is to ensure the continuous maintenance and implementation of quality and food safety systems and improvements while operating within international world class standards and all local regulations and by maintaining certifications to ISO 9001 and 22000 together with any additional programmes which may be applied in the future.

 

This is a fixed-term role for 12 months that will focus on:

  • Ensures the effective Implementation and maintenance of the HACCP, Food Safety Programme and Pre-requisite programs
  • Ensure the business maintains their ISO 22000 and 9001 Certifications and successful 3rd party audits
  • Coordinate Continuous Improvement Initiatives (QA)
  • Support the Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement in follow up & closing of quality & Food safety
  • Perform Food Safety, Quality Reporting
  • Support Integrated Management Systems Manager in systems improvement

This role is focusing on Quality Control, so you your measured experience in plant hygiene monitoring and problem resolution is going to be highly valued. You will have strong analytical skills, the ability to take technical and make it sound simple for those that are on the shop floor.

 

You will be naturally curious and essentially

  • Have knowledge and experience with ISO and quality management systems
  • A focus on continuous improvement, understand needs analysis
  • Understand the difference between the role QC and QA positions itself within a business/
