THE JOB

As a Trainee in the Commercial Finance team for Iberia, you’ll gain a 360º view of how finance supports and drives the commercial success of a top multinational in the beverage industry. You will be at the intersection of Finance, Revenue Growth Management and Sales, supporting decision-making processes that impact our performance in Spain and Portugal, across Horeca and Modern Trade channels

This is a unique opportunity to develop both your analytical and business partnering skills while being mentored by experienced professionals. Your role will involve a mix of administrative tasks, essential to ensure operational excellence, and analytical assignments, that will challenge your critical thinking and creativity.

 

Among your key responsibilities:

- Collaborate in month-end closing tasks, helping to prepare journal entries and cost reclassifications.

- Assist in building and updating recurring reports and commercial performance presentations.

- Provide analytical support to senior analysts and channel managers, helping to evaluate P&L performance, commercial initiatives and promotional activities.

- Prepare sales reports and variance analysis

- Support in the processing and follow-up of invoices, documentation management and vendor setup (SAP).

You’ll become a key support for the team, learning how finance can truly be a business partner that enables growth and value creation.

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED ON THE ROLE

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

You are able to sign an agreement with your University for at least 6 months.

You bring energy, motivation and a growth mindset to everything you do.
You are analytical, proactive and eager to learn – you enjoy working with data and are curious about the “why” behind the numbers.

You have a strong interest in FMCG and want to understand how commercial and financial decisions shape business performance.

You are organized, detail-oriented and can handle both routine and ad-hoc tasks with a positive attitude.

You feel comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge Power BI and SAP is a plus.

You have strong communication skills and are willing to collaborate with people from different teams and backgrounds.

You speak Spanish and English fluently. Portuguese is a plus.
