At Suntory Beverage & Food Spain, we are looking for a Sustainability Trainee to join our Public Affairs, External Communications, and Sustainability team. THE JOB
As a Sustainability Trainee, you will support the implementation of our regional sustainability strategy at the local market level. You’ll be part of a dynamic team working to bring Suntory’s “Growing for Good” vision to life through impactful initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainability within a multinational organization, contributing to real projects while developing your professional skills in a supportive and purpose-driven environment.
Among your key responsibilities:
- Translate regional sustainability goals into local initiatives aligned with Suntory’s values.
- Support internal communications to engage employees.
- Monitor global sustainability trends and share insights.
- Assist with ESG data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Contribute to carbon footprint and circular economy assessments.
- Organize CSR and volunteering activities, including KPI tracking.
- Coordinate the ‘Mizuiku’ environmental education program.
- Support awareness campaigns and external communications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and skills:
- You are a recent graduate in Environmental Science, Sustainability Studies, Sustainable Water Management, or a related field.
- You are able to sign an agreement with your University for at least 6 months.
- ESG-related certifications are a plus, but not mandatory.
- You are familiar with IT tools for sustainability data analysis and common office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- You have knowledge of ESR regulations at both international and local levels.
- You are fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- You are analytical, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- You are passionate about sustainability and want to contribute to Suntory’s mission of “Growing for Good.”
