ABOUT THE ROLE
- Business Partnering: Support the Head of Food and Channel Managers with strategic analysis to achieve commercial targets.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare closing reports, P&Ls, and presentations to provide clear business performance visibility.
- Communication: Ensure transparent communication of performance and issues to key stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Cross-functional Sales Team to drive commercial performance.
- Month-End Close: Participate in the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Commercial Agreements: Manage information consistency and collaborate with Sales on balance sheet reconciliation.
- P&L and Business Cases: Assist in creating and analyzing P&L statements and business cases for new initiatives.
- Deviation Analysis: Analyze variances in volume, mix, and price to provide business insights.
- Forecasting: Support the monthly forecasting process with relevant data and analysis.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Contribute to various ad-hoc tasks, including data analysis and special reporting.

- Campaign Tracking: You'll improve your ability to oversee media campaigns and report on their success and efficiency.
- Market Insights: You'll develop skills in gathering and leveraging consumer insights to drive brand growth.
- Field Visits: You'll strengthen your ability to conduct regular field visits, obtaining valuable insights that inform the organization's strategic decisions.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED ON THE ROLE
- Financial Acumen: Qualified accountant with strong financial understanding.
- Experience: Experience as a Finance Business Partner (controlling), ideally in the FMCG industry.
- Nice to Have: Additional experience in other Finance, Audit, or Consultancy roles is a plus.
- Cross-functional Teamwork: Proven experience working within or leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
- International Accounting Standards: Solid understanding of International Accounting Standards for revenue reporting and treatment.
- Technical Skills: MUST have advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SAP FI and CO-PA modules is an advantage.
- Proactive and Collaborative: Highly proactive, both within the Commercial Finance team and with the Sales teams.
- Confidence and Credibility: Able to confidently engage with Sales teams, providing both support and challenge as needed.
- Ability to Challenge: Demonstrated ability to challenge the Sales team with a healthy balance of assertiveness and tact.
- Resilience Under Pressure: Strong ability to manage high-pressure situations while maintaining performance.
- Prioritization and Decision-Making: Track record of effectively prioritizing tasks and making decisions, ideally during periods of significant business change.
