This role can be based in any of our main European office locations - Uxbridge, Paris, Madrid or Amsterdam 

What You'll Do

As Head of Total Rewards CoE – Europe, you will lead the design and delivery of Total Rewards strategy across SBFE, ensuring alignment with global direction while responding to regional business needs.

You will:

  • Design and continuously improve Total Rewards programmes across Europe, including salary structures, variable pay, benefits, job architecture, and recognition.
  • Lead the delivery of innovative, end-to-end reward solutions that are employee-centric and aligned to business priorities.
  • Ensure full compliance with governance and regulatory requirements, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
  • Partner closely with People & Culture, Finance, and business leaders to shape reward strategies that drive performance and transformation.
  • Lead and develop a team of reward experts across Europe, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Use data, insights, and technology to enhance the effectiveness and impact of reward programmes.
  • Build strong relationships with external vendors and market networks to ensure leading-edge practices.

You will also play a key leadership role as a member of both the Global Rewards CoE and SBFE People & Culture Leadership Team.

What You need to be successful

  • Significant experience (typically 15+ years) in Total Rewards design and delivery within multinational organisations.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong expertise across compensation, benefits, job evaluation, and reward governance frameworks.
  • Experience influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders in complex, matrix environments.
  • Knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, including pay transparency requirements (highly advantageous).
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience using HR systems and digital tools (e.g. SuccessFactors).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage diverse audiences on complex topics.
