About your role
- Lead packaging development strategy based on Suntory, PepsiCo and Pepsi Lipton requirements as Packaging site owner
- Lead packaging innovation, productivity project & packaging supplier development as Packaging site owner and assigned project lead
- Lead packaging sustainability development and implementation as assigned project lead
- Lead Packaging approval matrix app, market benchmarking data
What You'll Do
'1. Deliver Growth:
- Develop Packaging Strategy in line with SPVB Growth, Suntory, PepsiCo & Pepsi Lipton strategies.
- Deliver Marketing calendar launch by new packaging development as project timeline.
- Lead new/ changed packaging material qualification for SPVB & Co-packers
- Develop new packaging suppliers to ensure the source provided for production.
- Develop new packaging drawings/ specifications/ pilot/production molds for new/changed packaging for SPVB, in coordination with Suntory, PepsiCo & Pepsi Lipton Packaging R&D & Suppliers
- Make all new Packaging materials to follow the specification and requirements of Suntory,PepsiCo and Pepsi Lipton.
- Lead the testing/trials & follow-up with relevant functions/ regions & suppliers for all new packaging applications at respective plant
- Adjust the packaging drawing/specification suitable with condition of mold/machine.
- Manage artwork fulfillment with correct information.
- Ensure readiness of mass production for new/changed packaging materials.
2. Create Efficiency:
- Develop & drive packaging productivity projects to deliver cost savings
- Research and analyze new packaging from competitors on the market & benchmark with Suntory & PepsiCo regions.
- Ensure packaging trial protocol available and updated based on the requirements of Suntory, PepsiCo and Pepsi Lipton requirements.
- Ensure PepsiCo Approved 3rd Party Packaging Laboratory at DOP ready for testing and pass re-certification audit.
3. Drive Future Success:
- Develop package footprint matrix for all locations with proper demand & supply capacity plan
- Develop & drive packaging sustainability projects
4. Develop Capability:
- Build Packaging structure & capability development plan including hard & soft skills
5. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager
What You need to be successful
- Bachelor graduation in relevant majors.
- 5 years’ working experience
- Good Technical knowledge and experience in Packaging
- Good knowledge and experience in quality control packaging.
- Understanding of operation and supply chain background/ cost information
- Knowledgeable Food Safety, GMP.
- Familiarity with working under high pressure, multinational and international cultures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to meet business challenges.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently on teams toward common goals
- Good communication, negotiation and influencing skills – both verbal and written
- High integrity, with personal commitment to corporate and community values.
- Advanced English
- Basic PC
- Willingness and flexibility to travel
- Good at project management tool
