ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Regional Sales Manager for Traditional Trade, you will be pivotal in maximizing the distribution, net revenue, and Gross Profit of top Traditional Trade and RTM customers in the region. You'll work closely with the Channel Head/Managing Director to assess customer opportunities and support market initiatives, ensuring that our market share continues to grow. Your responsibilities will include executing seasonal strategies, managing local promotions, improving product distribution and availability, and maintaining effective communication with all key decision-makers.
Primary Responsibilities:
•    Collaborate with the Channel Head/Managing Director to identify customer opportunities.
•    Support and develop local programs to meet regional needs.
•    Contribute to the commercial planning process and fulfill yearly volume, net revenue, and GP plans.
•    Continuously increase market share and achieve competitive advantages.
•    Monitor performance and compliance, taking immediate corrective actions as needed.
•    Establish and manage CDA contracts according to company principles and strategies.
•    Manage display placement budgets effectively.
•    Execute region-specific promotions and events.
•    Ensure full product range availability in stores.
•    Place and monitor equipment (racks/displays) and fridge placements.
•    Execute pricing strategies and communicate effectively with customers.
•    Maintain a strong field presence to ensure executional excellence.
•    Follow up on complaints and update customer data regularly.
•    Engage with all key decision-makers during each visit.
•    Manage sales and merchandising partners.

REQUIRMENTS

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.
•    Experience in sales, preferably in FMCG organizations.
•    Experience in Traditional Trade.
•    Strong business awareness, negotiation, and communication skills.
•    Customer-oriented with good problem-solving abilities and accuracy.
•    Ethical conduct and compliance consciousness.
•    Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to build relationships at the store level.
•    Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure brand presence and minimize out-of-stocks.
Performance Indicators:
•    Compliance and controls.
•    Delivery of volume and value plans.
•    Excellence in trade execution.
•    CAM cycle compliance and adherence.
•    Effective promotional implementation and execution.
•    Management of 3rd party merchandisers.
•    Attendance at cycle briefs with sales and merchandising partners.
•    Accurate and concise daily reporting.
