The Opportunity
Are you looking to join a collaborative team where no two days are the same? As the Water Treatment Specialist, you will ensure the high-quality water supply for beverage manufacturing and manage wastewater responsibility in line with our commitment to both community and environment.
You will successfully operate, monitor, and maintain both the site’s municipal water treatment plant (product‑water supply) and the wastewater/trade‑waste treatment plant to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Actively participate in the care and Maintenance of our brand-new facility & equipment, through conducting Autonomous Maintenance and assisting Engineering with all broader Asset Care requirements.
- Embody a culture of Continuous Improvement in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Environment and Autonomous Maintenance.
- Coordinate treatment plant activities.
- Perform maintenance and servicing of equipment as required.
- Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and laboratory/field testing of water quality
Experience that you will bring
As well as being outcome focused with a positive can-do attitude you will demonstrate the following:
- Experience in water or wastewater plant operations.
- Experience in FMCG beverage manufacturing or relevant industry.
- Experience using SCADA/Telemetry systems.
- High Process Acumen, Strong Aptitude Mech / Elec / Automation.
- Strong problem-solving skills & experience.
- Certificate III in Water Operations (Desirable).
- Trade Certificate (Mechanical/Electrical) or relevant qualification (Desirable).
