The Opportunity
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Lead the Warehouse Supervisor will ensure the successful day-to-day operation of our Distribution centre. Successfully coaching a high performing team to ensure throughput and delivery is achieved in alignment with daily targets. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will monitor activity and report on shift outcomes, identifying constraints and operational performance opportunities. In alignment with the Suntory Oceania values you will drive a safety and quality culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage shift staffing levels for operation to ensure throughput and cost control.
- Report on daily shift outcomes, opportunities, impacts, constraints and operational performance.
- Coach and develop a team.
- Work effectively with the state DC Managers and operational support teams to ensure the timely and accurate picking and packing or orders.
- Support excellence in customer service.
- Promote a safety first environment and ensure all incidents are accurately reported.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes.
