The Opportunity

It’s an exciting time to join, as we scale up our operation in the Oceania region. Our national distribution centre, in Swanbank, Ipswich will supply the region with our multi-beverage brand portfolio, ensuring the continuous supply of products to fulfill our customer requirements.

 

The Operations Lead will successfully manage the operational activities within the automated Distribution Centre, leading a team that delivers excellence in service. Driven by our Suntory Leadership Spirit, the Operations Lead will build and embed a collaborative and performance driven culture.

What you’ll be doing

Team Leadership: Lead & develop our warehouse team, enabling them to achieve outstanding performance targets.

Quality & Safety focus: with a safety mindset, take accountability for product quality activities.

Financial accountability: responsible for optimal resource utilisation and budget ownership.

Delivery: Deliver excellence in Customer Service through coordination of planning, warehousing and distribution activities.

Experience that you will bring

You will demonstrate a strong ability to build and drive internal and external stakeholder relationships as well as:

  • Warehousing experience (extensive experience, incorporating leadership experience and managing teams).
  • Experience in a senior operating role.
  • Strategic Business Plan development & implementation.
  • Strong coaching and developing skills.
  • Well-developed planning skills that are outcome focused.
