The Opportunity

As one of our Process Leads for Packaging, you will lead the process improvement of our manufacturing capability. Partnering with our Manufacturing teams you will champion the Continuous improvement (Monozukuri Way) of our manufacturing processes, systems, procedures, and workflows to drive improved performance in safety, quality, efficiency, and environment, enabling us to meet the requirements of the business in the short, medium, and long term.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for someone to:

  • Lead our Manufacturing process standardization & associated management of change.
  • Optimise the performance of beverage processes and high-speed automated packaging equipment.
  • Champion the “All for the Quality” mindset, ensure we meet and exceed all Quality requirements of our processes.
  • Enable performance improvement of our Manufacturing teams and associated capability, through the application of advanced process analysis, problem solving, procedures and documentation to deliver, implement and validate data driven process improvements.

Experience that you will bring:

To enable you to hit the ground running, we’re looking for someone is outcome focused with a positive can-do attitude as well as:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics) or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in FMCG beverage manufacturing or relevant industry in a Process or Improvement Engineering role (3+ years’ experience is desirable).
  • Excellent knowledge of Process technology, with ability to work on a variety of state of the are equipment and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong Lean manufacturing industry experience utilizing six sigma concepts and tools.
  • Experience Training and Mentoring team members.
