The Opportunity
Our new beverage manufacturing facility in Ipswich is world class and a next-generation, industry 4.0 site, equipped with leading edge technology, machinery and processes.
We are now looking for an experienced Packaging Manager to manage the delivery and improvement of our Manufacturing Processes and People that enable us to craft our iconic multi-beverage portfolio of beverages.
As a member of the site leadership team, you will actively contribute to site culture and our unwavering commitment to Safety and an All for the Quality mindset aligned to our Suntory Leadership values.
What you’ll be doing
- Enable our semi-autonomous vision in our Manufacturing Teams, through the application of the daily management rhythm to deliver, implement and validate our people and process improvements.
- Delivery of packaging Right First Time targets.
- Coach & mentor, our Leaders to support the capability build of our teams.
- Responsible for the Packaging Teams in the execution of our Site Production Plan, including all daily / weekly / monthly deliverables and improvement initiatives to target KPI’s.
- Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement, in Safety, Quality, Environment, Efficiency, and Autonomous Maintenance, leveraging Best Practice as the basis for all process improvement.
- Support systems and processes validation through Performance and Operational standards.
Experience that you will bring:
With an outcome focused mindset and a strong positive can-do attitude, you will demonstrate the following:
- Experience in FMCG Beverage manufacturing or a relevant highly regulated industry in a Senior Leadership role.
- Excellent knowledge of Process Technology, with ability to work on a variety of critical plant and processing systems.
- Strong Lean manufacturing industry experience utilizing six sigma concepts and tools.
- Experienced in Manufacturing change management.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and methodical approaches to solving complex problems.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or Science is desirable.
