The Opportunity
Are you keen to be part of a brand-new, world class manufacturing and distribution facility that will supply the Oceania region with the iconic Suntory Beverage portfolio?
As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will lead a team of highly skilled Manufacturing Specialists to craft beverages that delight our consumers. Coaching the team successfully in the execution of our manufacturing plan and championing a team culture of continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Environment and Autonomous Maintenance, leveraging Best Practice as the basis for everything that we do. This is a shift-based position.
What you'll be doing
We are looking for someone who is passionate about leading, mentoring and developing others, enabling our teams to meet our business requirements. To achieve this the focus will be on:
- Lead the competency and capability development of our Manufacturing Specialists.
- Manage performance & development of team in accordance with the people cycle.
- Ensures process areas meet or exceed company, food safety standards, GMP and HACCP.
- Lead and manage our team’s capability towards our goal of autonomous operations.
Experience that you will bring
As well as a positive ‘can-do’ attitude you will also bring:
- Experience in FMCG beverage manufacturing or relevant industry in a frontline leadership capacity (essential).
- Experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Relevant qualification, I.e. Certificate IV or similar in frontline leadership or warehouse management (preferred).
