The Opportunity

Reporting to Facilities Manager, the Engineering Purchasing Co-ordinator will be manage the purchasing function as it applies to the purchasing of materials and successfully onboarding new suppliers.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the receivals and despatch management of stores items including cycle counting, stocktakes and goods movements
  • Support the site strategy for the engineering stores set up and management.
  • Partner the Stores & Facilities Team with upholding site presentation and safety standards
  • Responsible for coordination of contractors and/or site resources to effectively maintain site facilities and assets.
  • Maintain high levels of communication and coordination with all stakeholders across the site.
  • Partner with site planning functions to ensure all parts and resource are available as per agreed timelines and quality measures.

Experience That You Will Bring:

You will demonstrate a positive ‘can-do’ attitude with an outcome focused mindset as demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive experience in purchasing and stores management
  • Deep understanding of the stores function and the relationship to engineering and inventory management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in processes and reporting practices using SAP/EAM.
  • Lean manufacturing industry experience (desirable)
