About your role

As our Business Partner you will deliver efficient, consistent and high-quality on-site People & Culture (P&C) services for our business in Belgium, ensuring an excellent employee experience. The Business Partner is a customer-facing role responsible for providing partnering and support across the P&C function. A key focus of this role is to ensure legal compliance with Belgian labor laws and collective labor agreements, and to build capability and accountability within the business.

 

What You'll Do

Business Partnering & Capability Building

Act as a point of contact and support for managers, providing guidance and coaching.

Build capability and accountability among people managers to handle People & Culture matters independently. Leading local training courses on People & Culture processes and tools.

Provide career guidance and coaching to managers where appropriate.

Assist with planning and roll-out of People & Culture programs and initiatives, including Talent Management, Performance and Employee Engagement.

Compliance & Employee Relations

Monitor, Review & update local policies & practices in accordance with the law, the industry environment and the local leadership strategy (e.g., CLAs, mobility plan, training reporting, etc.).

Lead standard employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) cases and support the GM/CLT in managing the works council and unions.

Advise on performance management issues and lead investigations.

Administration & Vendor Management

Coordinate with Procurement team the vendor reviews and tenders’ management to optimize service level and cost for P&C services and ensure PO approval and budget follow-up for local People & Culture matters. Administer and manage relationships with P&C vendors (e.g., Securex, insurance providers, training partners).

Ensure car & mobility policy framework, with execution of the policy by the Market Assistant

What You need to be successful

Experience in partnering with senior leadership and managing complex HR cases.

Solid understanding and working knowledge of broad HR functional areas, compliance regulations, and business processes in Belgium.

Strong expertise in ER/IR and local labor laws.

Educational background in HR, Law, or related.
