Key Account Manager Hard Discount BNL
About your role
As Key Account Manager Hard Discount BNLX, you are responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our Hard Discount customers across Belgium and the Netherlands. You manage and grow long-term partnerships with key accounts Lidl and Aldi, while ensuring alignment with Suntory Beverage & Food’s strategic objectives. Working in a cross-border and cross-functional environment, you collaborate closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver sustainable growth. You will be part of the BNLX Retail Sales team and report into the Sales Manager Netherlands.
What You'll Do
• Build strong, long-term partnerships with your customers (Lidl NL & BE, Aldi NL & BE)
• Develop and deliver customer strategies in line with overall commercial objectives
• Lead annual negotiations and contribute to international negotiations
• Define, build and execute promotional and category strategies per customer
• Drive successful launches of new products, from planning to execution
• Work closely with Dutch and Belgian sales teams to ensure excellent in-market execution
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and overall account performance
• Own forecast accuracy and manage customer budgets from preparation through follow-up

What You need to be successful
• Evidence based experience in retail sales and/or Hard Discount (FMCG experience strongly preferred)
• Strong commercial acumen with solid negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders across borders
• Structured, proactive and results-driven way of working
• Strong skills in MS Office
• Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a strong plus)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Sales and/or Marketing (or equivalent)
• Willingness to travel between the Netherlands and Belgium (approximately 5% of the role)
