About your role
As our Communication & Media Manager you will be responsible for building the communication and media strategy for all Schweppes countries (10+ countries) according to local priorities and budget. This highly complex role requires a deep understanding of local consumer insights (Seikatsucha) and market dynamics for each country under your remit. You will act as a pivotal link within the organization, on one hand, influencing the Schweppes Central Team to ensure that global strategies and assets are tailored to the specific needs of each market. On the other hand, coaching and guiding local marketing teams and partners in the effective deployment of strategies, ensuring adherence to selected touch points, achievement of objectives, and diligent budget tracking.
What You'll Do
Communication Responsibilities
Recommend strategic communication assets, both ATL and BTL, based on Schweppes strategy, local brand maturity, and key priorities. Design and implement local assets if needed
Recommend relevant touch points and act as the guardian of MCA/BIM implementation at the local level.
Deliver comprehensive playbooks to local markets and partners to enable effective and consistent local execution.
Share best practices and drive the scaling of executional excellence across all markets.
Lead and leverage European partnership (Roland Garros)
Lead Yellow Storm from briefing to closing ceremonies for all countries
Validate and track local A&P budget allocation, conducting quarterly analyses in collaboration with the CMIO SBFE for Gold & Silver markets.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication and selected touch point, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Media Leadership Responsibilities
Lead the media process from briefing local agencies to the recommendation of full media plans, challenging and optimizing proposals to balance central guidance, KPIs, and business priorities.
Oversee the validation of media plans (covering 80% of A&P) during the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) sign-off with the SBFE CMIO and ensure ongoing adherence throughout the year.
Track media performance and recommend optimizations to maximize impact and efficiency
Lead the onboarding of new media agencies and commercial partners, ensuring alignment with Suntory Media KPIs and standards

What You need to be successful
Extensive Marketing Experience in both regional and local marketing roles, ideally within FMCG or beverage sectors
Agency & Partner Relations: Strong background in collaborating with creative, PR, experiential agencies, and media houses
Experience in transversal management and working with diverse teams is essential.
Coaching & Governance: Ability to coach and guide local teams, set governance frameworks, and ensure adherence to brand guidelines and selected touchpoints
