Role:

* Take full charge of projects in all plants across Vietnam BU from initiation to completion.

* Develop standardization of equipment using Best Practice Tools.

* Ensure capex execution on time and within budget, adhering to capex procurement policy.

Job Responsibilities

A. Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion

1. Project Initiation

Overall planning and defining scope.

Open and maintain clear communication channels between partners.

2. Project Execution

Study, analyze, evaluate, and advise the Management Board about the feasibility of the project.

Time and cost estimation and tracking, develop project budget.

Ensure submissions to relevant authorities in preparation for commencement.

Work with designers, consultants, and follow legal procedures involved in the development project.

Work with the purchasing department for the purchase of materials and equipment.

Manage the construction project and supervise the execution and implementation of the works.

Risk management (risk recognition, risk measurement, and corrective action).

Follow up, inspect, and report about the status of the project, control the quality and progress of the works.

Review, evaluate the final phase of projects, ensuring the construction quality, technical requirements, and progress of the works.

Check final quality and quantity documents before payment for the contractor/suppliers.

Control quality, quantity, and methods of work; control time; control cost and budget; project documentation.

3. Project Completion and Hand over

Ensure the preparation and upkeep of related project documents.

Ensure the clearance of inspections imposed by relevant authorities.

B. Supplier Management

• Manage existing partnerships

• Support & co-operate with Procurement for supplier selection process

• Support to develop further supplier partnerships (global/regional) based upon the degree of synergies

• Provide interface between field and supplier community for validation of latest technological developments

C. Support to formulate an Equipment Sourcing Strategy/Protocol

• Support for standardization & optimization of Company infrastructure procurement sourcing and build out.

• Monitor industry “best practices” and incorporate into Company system

• Maintain “historical” pricing data of installed capacity

D. Manage & deliver SPVB OPSC Project capex

Deliver & manage to deliver SPVB Key projects (Strategic or Product/Packaging) cum Plant projects for some assigned plants annually, average not less than 30 capex projects annually.

E. Manage & deliver SPVB OPSC Capex

Deliver average one-third (1/3) total SPVB OPSC capex spending & cash-out as per AOP submitted forecast phasing to support annual cash-out plan & mitigate capex spill-over issue.

F. Support Engineering standardization & Packaging development

Support safety compliance standardization & execution in both new & existing equipment/system.

Connect brand owners (Suntory PepsiCo) at regional level in new initiatives in terms of product, packaging, plastic reduction.

Conduct feasibility study (if any) for complex/big projects.

Support process design review.

Coordinate and lead the Gate Approval process with regional level as per Suntory capex policy requirement.

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree, strong background in technical of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and related fields.

At least 7-8 years' project management experience in large-scale companies.

Able to manage project from design, material procurement, fabrication, and final installation.

Must be fluent in written and spoken English and MS Office.

Understanding and managing risk, strong technical skills to anticipate, manage, and reduce the risk associated with projects.

Good project management, communication, organizational, and coordination skills.

Good coaching skills and able to work closely with cross-functional teams
