Planning Analyst - Organized Trade

Job Summary

  • Support LM to build partnership with Sales and Trade MKT team, manage CDA budget and enhance business processes

Job Responsibilities

1. Partnership with Sales/ Trade Marketing team

  • Provide financial evaluation with business justification and recommend on GO or NO GO action for all deals of Modern Trade and Key Accounts for Management’s decision
  • Consult on Trade terms offering to MT and KAs (Fixed and Variable) to reduce potential risks/ maximize benefits from CDA investment like space share, visibility, brand equity…
  • Evaluate performance of big Modern Trade accounts through MT P&L to highlight the risks and opportunities on budget management, effectiveness of investment. Suggest action plan for high level review
  • Manage Mix through reviewing Volume structure of the deals. Recommend on product portfolio to drive mix management
  • Support Control team to have business visibility for the deal to have best accrual quality based on performance

2. CDA Budgeting Management

  • Conduct core planning processes, including: AOP, quarterly forecast, midmonth outlook, month end closing & budget control for OT channel.
  • Build up CDA budget and forecast spending ($10MM) and Ensure budget is opened and executed in accordance with SOA.
  • Monitor budget, reshuffle budget to ensure effective spending with highest benefit.
  • Collaborate with functions to ensure CDA COOP are proper tracked and fully complied execution

3. Business Process/ System Maintenance and Management

  • Ensure CDA system is maintained and updated regarding to Planning data.
  • Support Key Account team to correct and revamp CDA system which is not proper working currently.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive OBIEE reporting package – Sales Module Facilitate in business process simplification, reflect changing in appropriate system.

Skills and Experience

  • 1-2+ years’ experience in Commercial Finance
  • Familiar with Oracle E-business suite, Hyperion HFM and/or Hyperion Budgeting a significant plus
  • Able to work independently and be a good team player
  • Strong customer oriented mindset
  • Good analytical
  • Good communication skill
  • Fluent in English (both speaking & writing)
  • Strong in MS Excel and MS Power Point
