Planning Analyst - Costing

About your role

This position is to support Planning Manager in Standard Costing Process from master data, stand cost preparing, consolidating, review cost estimate, and doing variance analysis. In addition, this position is also finance business partner of Procurement for some direct materials to review Reco, cost benchmarking to drive cost efficiency & productivity.

What You'll Do

1. CO Master Data: set and maintain key master data 
- Statistic Key Figure (SKF)
- Activity Type (AT)
- Profit Center and Cost Center
- Cost Allocation Rule
- Maintain Standard Price for new material, new SKUs 

2. Standard Cost Planning: be responsible to prepare input for standard cost for VPC and act consolidation role in standard cost planning process including gathering all the require input for Manufacturing Overhead (MOH) (conversation cost including PRC and Depreciation), Logistic Cost and execute standard cost planning in SAP system
- Review BOM, Master Recipe Data
- Prepare Standard Cost Planning
- Update plan material, activity price
- Use system and run properly steps (T-Code) to conduct allocation cycle
- Review Product cost estimate
- Release Product Cost Estimate

3. Month-end Closing:
- Check landed cost report and analyze the actual vs. standard cost variance, to drive costing process improvement
- Reconcile FICO and COPC module to ensure full cost is loaded to secondary accounts
- Prepare allocation to sku for Direct Costs transactions not yet in sku level from primary account

4. Business Partnering of Procurement:
- Support Procurement Direct Materials to review cost benchmarking among suppliers for contract negotiation
- Analyze commodity markets, and partner with Procurement to forecast material prices, supporting commodity risk management decision and rolling forecast
- Work with Procurement to drive direct materials productivity agenda by integrating financial, non-financial infor and providing financial consultation
- Conduct performance tracking & analysis of actual performance versus budget, year ago to timely identify risk, opportunity on full year target deliverables

5. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

What You need to be successful

• Education: Finance background, University graduated (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA or Master degree in Finance is preferred
• 3+ years experiences in analytical position in Finance field
• Data analystic skill
• Business partnering skill
• Good communicaton, open minded
• Team work
• Problem solving, logical thinking
• Fluent in English 
• Strong Excel / modeling skills and MS Power Point
• Experience with ERP eg SAP
