Job Summary

The purpose of the People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner is to partner with the leadership team in a certain market, function or factory on strategic people priorities.
- Market: Business Partners can have a focus on a specific Business unit, country or clustering of countries and partners with the leadership team in that specific market
- Function: Business Partners can have a specific focus on a specific function or department in a market. This is the case if a department has a large employee population or requires specific BP support due to business developments or specifics. Business partners partner with the head and leadership teams of these functions. 
 

Job Responsibilities

Business Partnering
-    Strategic HR Planning: Partner with business leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive HR Plan (HRP) that aligns with the functional strategic plan and long-term vision. 
-    Change Management Leadership: Act as a proactive Change Agent by managing organizational change activities. 
-    Capability Building: Collaborate with functional leaders to achieve business goals by ensuring that employees are equipped with the necessary skills and capabilities.
-    Trusted Advisory Role: Serve as a strategic advisor for managers and employees within the respective scope, providing expert guidance on HR-related matters. 
-    Program Implementation: Work closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and the People Excellence team to implement and broker People & Culture (P&C) programs and initiatives.
-    Control Environment Supervision: Supervise and ensure a healthy control environment for respective functions. 
-    Team Development and Coaching: Coach and develop team members, including Business Partner managers and People Partners, to enhance their capabilities in delivering all P&C initiatives and programs.
-    Strategic Project Management: Undertake other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager, including leading and participating in strategic P&C projects. 

DEI Lead
DEI Lead at Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam as a dynamic and impactful position that shapes the company’s culture and drives meaningful change. By working closely with leaders, global and regional functions, and mobilizing resources at different streams, this role will be required to:
-   Develop and Implement DEI Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive DEI strategies that align with the company’s goals and values, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace, in line with Global and Regional strategy.
-    Training and Development: Organize and lead training sessions on topics such as unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and emotional intelligence to enhance awareness and skills among employees.
-    Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Support and manage ERGs, such as Women@SPVB, to foster a sense of community and provide platforms for underrepresented groups to voice their concerns and ideas.
-    Policy Review and Implementation: Review and update company policies to ensure they promote equity and inclusion and address any barriers to diversity within the organization.
-    Recruitment and Retention: Work closely CoE TA to integrate DEI principles into recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring fair and unbiased hiring practices.
-    Community Engagement: Partner with external organizations and communities to promote DEI initiatives and enhance the company’s reputation as a leader in diversity and inclusion.
-    Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on DEI metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement, ensuring transparency and accountability

 

Skills and Experience

Qualifications:
•    Strong knowledge of P&C strategy and processes.
•    DEI knowledge and expertise are a competitive advantage.
Functional Expertise:
•    Knowledge of Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR).
•    At least 10 years of experience in general HR at a management level, with experience in FMCG companies being a plus.
•    Excellent working knowledge of employment law with the ability to apply it practically to workplace situations.
•    Excellent networking skills and understanding of HR best practices.
•    Strong influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
•    Very good business understanding and strategic thinking.
•    Strong leadership skills, especially in people coaching and consulting.
•    High ethics, control consciousness, and deep self-awareness.
Leadership Skills:
•    Good stakeholder management skills and strong ability to maintain relationships.
•    Business savviness and understanding of trends and developments in the area of focus.
•    Ability to use and interpret data for business purposes and integrate it into daily operations and solutions.
•    Ability to steer towards business outcomes
