Material Requirement Planning Executive - Suntory Brands

About your role

This role is to plan and execute material requirement planning for monthly/weekly production operations, projects and new initiatives under assigned material types at national level in order to ensure on-going sufficient material supply, including co-packing. 
This role also covers managing plan of material transfer among plants, both volume and cost, as demand arisen; working and coordinating with transporters and various stakeholders at locations to ensure enough materials for continuous manufacturing.

What You'll Do

1. Material Planning
- Be responsible for planning and reviewing assigned material requirement (raw material and/or packaging material) across finished goods categories including projects & new initiatives.
- Ensure MRP is aligned and integrated with master material requirement plan for S&OP.
- Optimize cost by maintaining healthy DFC norm aligned with leadership team.
- Be responsible for execution of the material plan with weekly review and follow-up with MRP Executive at locations for balancing inventory of material and take actions of ordering and receipt of the material as required by day-to-day operations or by project and/or new initiatives.
- Do planning of monthly and weekly transfer of materials among plants to optimize primary transfer cost of material.
- Update rolling FCST with local & oversea suppliers (est. 32 suppliers)
2. Supplier management
- Co-ordinate with Suppliers, Project Leaders, Procurement, PA Executive at locations on supply issues of in order to ensure delivery with right quantity, quality and at right time.
- Joint Procurement to monitor suppliers’ performance, capacity & make analysis in order to identify supply constraints and recommendations on mitigating the associated risks.
- Work with Marketing/Procurement team follow up new material progress at allocated supplier, trouble-shoot supply issues regarding to initiatives and projects’ material supply.
- Follow up payment process with Finance and transporter for nationwide material primary transfer transactions.
- Work with suppliers if having any issue related quality issue    
3. Monitor & Follow up Shipment Delivery Plan:
- Weekly review & update Delivery Plan with Suppliers & SBFAP to ensure supply concentrate for production 
- Directly work with suppliers to accelerate shipments or delayed further based on lasted demand to control DFC target 
- Get alignment with QA to receive raw materials if arrival under 70% shelf-life
4. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, etc.
Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management, particularly of inventory management, total cost of ownership
Basic Project Management
Effective communication, negotiation, problem solving
Good collaboration skill
Microsoft Excel (proficiency level) & other MS Offices software
ERP system
Fluent English
