JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Optimization role is responsible for the development and maximization of logistics expenditure to meet company's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets and support other logistics/supply chain initiatives across the company.

Job Responsibilities

1. Identify Logistics optimization opportunities (service or cost) including but not limited to delivery schedule, order fulfillment, route mapping, truck utilization, warehouse efficiency, etc. through various manners:
 - Driving data cleansing and analysis to oversee patterns, generate insights, and identify different types of waste or inefficiency.
 - GEMBA & in-depth interviews with both internal and external stakeholders.

2. Lead optimization initiatives from ideation to alignment and implementation:
- Design optimization projects with clear objectives, and timelines and take into consideration ROI and risk management; by strongly and early engaging with stakeholders (end-users, finance planning, 3PL, etc.)
- Lead project as aligned plan/objectives and hold the accountability of relevant parties for a smooth implementing phase.
- Facilitate performance project meetings to review outcomes versus initial objectives & report/analyze business impacts after projects go live to develop action plans for continuous improvement and sustainment.

3. Perform tasks arising in the scope of work required by the line manager. 

 

Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or related discipline

- Min 3-5 years of experience in transportation/logistics, warehousing supply chain preferably in the beverage industry and consumer products
- Strong background in ERP and database systems
- Advanced data analytical skills & a keen attention to detail
- Logistics and order management experience
- Experience in tactical project management knowledge
- Strong leadership in driving innovation and productivity projects

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strategic and tactical skills in a high-paced environment
- Self starting and proactive personality with a proven track record of following through and delivering on responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and analytical mindset able to drive change and improvement of SC data planning and governance activities

- Strong Communication Skills in English: speaking, writing, listening, reading & translating technical documents

- Advanced Excel modeling skills required
