JOB SUMMARY

Being Legal business partner lead, in charge of all operational legal matters to ensure business operations comply with applicable laws, and regulations, and corporate policies, and ensure maximum protection of the Company's rights affecting business operations.

Job Responsibilities

1. Partnering with Sales, MKT, HR, CA, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Finance.

(independently Involved in problem-solving with high-level of all Departments).

- Providing legal advice to solve customer complaints, contract disputes, contract termination in terms of key legal issues

- Lead all key legal matters arising in all operational matters of Sales, MKT, HR, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Fin, and CA including government audits, crisis management of brands, etc.

- Look ahead and anticipate the change inside and outside the company

- Keep abreast of legislative changes and conduct legal training

- Join industry forums; research the practice of other multi-national companies to add their best practice to our legal initiatives.

 

2. Oversee the contract policy, including contract standardization, simplification, automation and management.

- Take charge of reviewing, approving and standardizing contracts.

- Engage in thorough negotiations and discussions for contracts that have high value and/or high complexity.

- Lead the effort to standardize the templates for all agreements. Monitor them periodically and update them regularly to meet business requirements.

 

3 . Sales & MKT promotion notification/registration and report.

- Overall promotion management including tax exposure mitigation from VAT leakage.

- Ensure providing legal advice to Sales and MKT and Planning/tax related to procedures to organize the promotional program including pre-registration procedure and post-registration procedure

- Lead on working with related Government officers both local and central to conduct all related procedures to obtain for running promotional program as per the agreed timeline

 

4. Being SPVB's contact point for IP and competition matters.

 

5. Take charge of Bad debt collection & litigation management.

 

6. Lead on simplification and Innovation.

- Work with FC, CFO, Excoms/Business partners to propose simplification and standardization initiatives (Internal processes/ Internal policies/ Contracting guidelines, etc)

- Provide Initiatives to enhance the process policy aligned with the vision's company and business demand.

- Continuously look at the process/policy for opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.

 

7. Build team and team support.

- Support team members in pursuit of goals and targets

- Provide initiatives to simplify and better execution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor graduation in relevant majors

- At least 8 years relevant experience as a lawyer in private practice or in a similar role in MNC

- Demonstrate good drafting and negotiation skills both in English and Vietnamese

- Give clear and trusted advice to other departments as required.

- Strong influencing skills, result-oriented, change management

- Independence, strong communications

- Good in leading team

- Advanced English

- Basic PC
