Internal Control Manager - IT and Finance

Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverage (SPVB) is a strategic alliance between PepsiCo Inc. and Suntory Holdings Ltd. since 2013.

Job Purposes:

This position is responsible for:

- Planning, executing and leading internal audit agenda for respective functions (IT & Finance) to ensure the adequate of financial assertions, the effectiveness and efficiency of operational process and the compliance with Corporate and regulations.

- Play the key role as process controller/advisor for processes & SOD of respective functions and other related processes & SOD involving the respective functions.

- Participating in the risk assessment and development of proper control designs to meet business expansion.

- Leading to develop & maintain high level of SOA effectiveness implementing across Company's activities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Implement internal control system based on Pepsico GCS framework and Suntory audit governance (IT & Finance)

-Roll out the implementation of PepsiCo Global Control Standards (GCS) by setting guideline, audit methodology and facilitating self- assessments and GCS test reporting system.

-Drive self-assessment and proportional ownership by building proportional leadership and control competent maturity. Provide coaching and direction for embedding a self-assessment and verification program to the function

-Lead Routine Compliance Auditing - audit basic business processes and coordinate/participate internal/external audits as required for functions in charge.

-Play the role as being custodian of compliance with policy and procedures by highlighting incompliance and reinforcing the importance of compliance.

-Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

2. Frauds Investigation (IT & Finance)

-Do investigate Frauds and special projects with high impact to business sustainability and as assigned by CEC. Reinforce the compliance and escalate issues on values and ethics.

3. Risk management (IT & Finance)

-Organize risk assessment workshops and facilitate discussions to identify control improvement opportunities and implement the changes to meet the growing and changing business requirements.

-Work together with Business Partner to identify and evaluate business risks and mitigations with clear action plan following SBFA Business Risk assessment model.

4. Policies/SOP and SOD adviser (IT & Finance)

-Give advice on policies/SOP development and system setting to ensure proper control design, segregation of duties (SOD) for core systems to meet future business requirements.

-Maintain respective function’s policies/SOP in intranet and properly communicate them to all employees.

5. SOA Management

- Lead the entire company's SOA change process, which entails:

    + Developing a strategic plan to review all SOAs on a quarterly basis to make sure they align with new or current processes;

    + Taking the initiative to review, advise, and identify opportunities for SOA change to safeguard the company's interests while enhancing simplification across approval processes;

    + Meeting with all stakeholders to fully understand current processes and provide additional guidance if necessary.

    + Driving change implementation and participating in IT projects/Business Transformation to reflect SOA changes (manual to automation, data flow) resulting from system enhancement and its integration with other systems.

- Improve SOA communication (SOA refresher/new updated training) on a constant basis to guarantee high SOA compliance efficacy from users in all locations and functions.

6. Business Continuity Management ('BCM") system implementation (IT & Finance)

- Lead the IT and finance departments' BCM training and BCM-Risk Assessment workshop.

- Work closely with the business partner to define the priority business functions for IT and finance. Then, evaluate the impact of these functions upon disruption and the resources required for recovery to guarantee IT & Finance can continue to provide its services at predetermined, acceptable levels after disruptive incidents.

- Assist the IT & Finance BCM Coordinator in developing the IT & Finance business continuity plan (BCP), which is a comprehensive action plan that outlines the systems, processes, and sequences required to maintain or restore operations in the event of a disruption.

- Ensure that BCM functions effectively and efficiently with the staff's cooperation and understanding.

- Construct testing scenarios and enable operations to carry out the drilled testing.

Skills and Experience

- University graduate, major in accounting

- Strong system knowledge and fluent usage of ERP system

- Good Excel and other Microsoft Office Skill (e.g Pivot Table, charts, Dashboard, PowerPoint)

- Strong data analysis skill

- Sufficiently understand the business process, workflows and systems interactions

- Have strong experience in handling SOA Management scope & Business Continuity Management implementation

- Good communication, problem solving & influencing skill

- Ability to work under time pressure, work independently with minimal supervision

- Ability to learn and improve effectiveness in daily operation

- High integrity and acting with due diligence

- Fluent in English communication

- At least 4 year experience in similar roles
