About your role
- Responsible for assigned tasks in monthly cash flow management and Treasury KPI’s under Financial Controller. Responsible for ensuring the adequacy and efficiency of funds as well as the updating of credit lines with financial institutions, for ensuring sufficient fund needed for expenditures.
- Lead AP team - Nationwide towards work achievement, providing support to team member and other functions. Provide functional monitoring, advice and support to AP accountants to comply with tax law & accounting policy
What You'll Do
- Financial Transaction Processing and Financial Reporting
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Accounts payable and Treasury department. Ensure accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, payments and banking transactions to be compliant with financial closing schedules and global and local standards, including legal and taxation
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships, ensuring the adequacy and efficiency of funds as well as the updating of credit lines with financial institutions
- Develop processes and tools to improve efficient and well-controlled financial transaction processing systems, including implementation of ERP enhancements and new technologies
- Oversee the preparation and effective control of the financial statements and KPIs, ie. DPO, CF…
- Financial and Operating Control
- Safeguard company assets by continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls for Payable accounts, Treasury and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Perform risk assessment, define risk mitigation and monitoring strategies to strengthen controls and improve efficiency.
- Drive the proportional ownership and process compliance from all functions; uphold company Tone and Value.
- Business Partner and Process Efficiency
- In tune with business partners to support the decision making by advising the financial and control implications to drive cost effectiveness and timely payments.
- Lead a simplified and efficient SOA/POA and drive the implementation of policies, SOP and applications that improve the accuracy, efficiency and automation of business process and reporting systems, mainly Procure-to-Pay policies and process
- Organization and capability building
- Develop team capability on technical tax and accounting competencies; policies and controls through effective training, coaching and best practice sharing
- Oversee the operations of the Account payables and Treasury function, including the design of an organizational structure and employee engagement activities adequate for achieving business objectives and developing Finance and Control talents
What You need to be successful
- BA or MA degree in Accounting/Auding/Finance. Minimum 10 years of related financial experience in major company/corporation
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, VAS, taxation regulations and commercial laws.
- Strong business acumen, risk assessment and controlling. Proven leadership and people management skills to partner and communicate effectively and drive the process streamlining, process compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Attention to detail; efficiently multitask in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change
- Fluent English speaking and writing skill
- High-level analytic skills and competent in ERP, Coupa/Ariba, Power BI, KNIME and other advanced technologies
