Finance Director - Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Productivity Planning
Job Summary
Lead respective Planning team to be the Business Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to deliver short and long terms strategic operational and financial effectiveness through analyzing and optimizing cost spine for Operation and Supply Chain; driving Productivity agenda; managing and improving inventory; delivering on financial targets.
Job Responsibilities
1 Short and long term Strategic Operational analysis
- Lead/Co lead manufacturing footprint analysis which captures short and long terms demand from the market by each locations and financial justification to recommend in-house and co-packing when to invest new line, lines relocation.
- Lead Warehouse / Distribution center footprint exercise to ensure smooth operation for production & no impact to sales by balance between sales volume & production volume.
- Lead material footprint analysis for stable supply at competitive cost.
- Proactively interpret trends and provide forward looking analysis to business partner for better decision making and planning.
2. AOP & MTP Budgeting cycle for Operations and Supply Chain cost:
- Lead Strategic Plan, Annual Operation Plan, Mid-term Plan, and forecast exercise for COGS and Supply Chain cost
- Lead Risk Mitigation & Opportunity capturing process for total COGS & SC cost with clear action plan-
- Oversight the Causes of Change to analyze root cause & propose action plans to deliver target on COGS and SC cost.
- Deliver on improving inventory management
- Provide trade off analysis to facilitate decision making.
3. Business Partner with Operations and Supply Chain team:
- Lead the respective planning team to be the business partner with Ops and SC team to deliver Must Win Battle agenda.
- Ensure the integration & synergy between Ops, SC team and respective planning function.
- Develop Ops and SC scorecard to facilitate performance management.
- Support SC on the Suppliers selection through solid financial analysis.
- Support business partner on process improving, standardization & simplification.
4. Drive productivity agenda :
- Lead the development of Productivity framework from ideas generation until execution.
- Lead strategic improvement project upon direction of senior management (Eg: OEE improvement, Internal & External Benchmarking, KPIs review, Automation, Efficiency)
- Develop cost structure analysis for Operations and SC by category and location to identify opportunities for productivity savings.
- Leverage expertise from PepsiCo and Suntory to lift and shift best practices to SPVB.
- Lead Productivity performance tracking process through frequent update and highlight key action plans in monthly Productivity Council Meeting.
- Develop DRs to master the productivity concept, framework, evaluation methods & be able to cascade to others when needed.
- Build long-term roadmap for company Productivity Capability by developing training plan and Productivity human resource on Productivity/Lean Six-Sigma/Kaizen activities
- Develop and implement an effective performance management system; ensuring that performance data is systematically analyzed to identify training needs and inform wider Productivity workforce planning.
- Lead the development of continuous improvement culture, introducing impact measured analytics to demonstrate scale of success of learning and development delivery.
5. Capability Development:
- Set up & Build a strong & sustainable team through clear role and responsible
- Build functional capability through on-going coaching
- Build bench strength through Career planning discussion, IDP process & mentoring program and frequently 1-1 discussion.
Skills and Experience
- University graduate, Master in - Finance, ACCA and CFA preferred
- More than 8 years- experience in Financial role with 4+ years in Senior Manager positions.
- In-depth understanding of Manufacturing and SC and total key business drivers.
- Experience in FMCG and F&B industry is a plus
