Environment, Health and Safety Director

Job Summary

  • To ensure Occupational Health, Safety and Environment of company in compliance with legal requirements as well as Suntory and PepsiCo standards.
  • To lead and drive EHS AOP agenda for SPVB
  • To lead and build safety first culture across SPVB

Job Responsibilities

Strategy set up

  • Develop & Lead for long term strategy for EHS to be in line with SPVB Vision, PepsiCo and Suntory strategies

 

EHS calendar

  • Develop/ Build EHS plan for SPVB to adapt all Suntory/Pepsico requirements and Legal Compliance
  • Lead & drive EHS agenda, enforce and implement overall EHS policy, system and guidelines at all plants at all the time.
  • Lead EHS audits and follow up corrective actions/preventive actions to ensure legal and SPVB mandate compliance is met.
  • Lead Accident/ Incident Investigation and when necessary with aims to develop corrective action and identify causes.
  • Lead safety risk assessment for all equipment/machine projects (both new and current) at all plants.
  • Responsible for EHS aspect in management of change process for all changes
  • Ensure equipment and working environment in compliance with local legal requirements.
  • Identify potential hazards at plant; report those hazard potentials and issue corrective action/preventive action to Plant Director/ Executive VP – Operations
  • Track, monitor and report EHS program status and EHS KPIs metrics as per SPVB requirements

 

EHS capability & culture building

  • Deliver EHS communications to all employees working at the plant to build safety awareness 
  • Roll out EHS Best Practice Tools/ EHS management program as Suntory and PepsiCo requirements and business agenda
  • Educate and promote awareness among employees on EHS aspects through training, discussion, and enforcement of EHS regulations

 

EHS sustainability

  • Update timely the sustainability program from Suntory/ PepsiCo then develop the programs at all plants of SPVB
  • Implements and monitors environmental strategies and programs to promote sustainable development

Your Team

Skills and Experience

Education 

  • University, major in EHS or technical

 

Required Experiences 

  • University, major in EHS or technical
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experiences in which 3+ years at managerial role
  • Good knowledge of Best Practice tools in operations 
  • Well-understanding of EHS matters
  • Excellent facilitation & influencing skills
  • Result oriented & strong people development
  • Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
