E-Commerce Manager - Food Delivery

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop Food Delivery fundamentals

  • Identify new potential customers (hits list) and have a hunting plan with the Hunting Team
  • Work closely with the Farming Team to sustain FD coverage to secure loyalty & build up volume
  • Build JBP with Strategic Partners' Food Delivery platforms
  • Provide pre & post-execution evaluation of campaigns
  • Monitor the Food Delivery Budget and optimize using it

 

2. Identify new opportunities

  • Generate channel/ customer/shopper insights in the Food Delivery channel, 
  • Make analysis and strategic channel development plans for nationwide Food Delivery Channel, identify new channel opportunities, and define the proper course of action to seize them
  • Frequently do trade visits, and touch base with the market to understand it well
  • Follow up and support the deployment and evaluate the success

 

3. Channel lead & relationship management
a. Channel lead:

  • Build monthly/quarterly/yearly plans for online campaigns, promotion, sampling,…
  • Conduct Business Reviews with senior managers from SPVB and the customers
  • Monitor performance and compliance, taking corrective action where necessary
  • Effectively communicate all plans to the Sales team & internal stakeholders, and have monthly/weekly tracking of the performance progress & keep all relevant functions updated

 

b. Relationship management

  • Build and nurture a working relationship with Food Aggregators
  • Excellent in communication and building relationships with cross-functional departments and customers
  • Work & collaborate closely with brand teams, and digital marketing to launch effective campaigns on Food Delivery platforms
  • Collaborate well with ASM and Distributors to ensure sales order for customers

 

4. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, major in Marketing/ Economics/ Commerce is preferred.
  • >2 years of sales/brand/trade experience in the FMCG industry
  • >3 years experience in the online industry, related to FMCG products; must have proven experience in developing, digital transformation and partnership management
  • Extensive experience with and deep understanding of online players (e-commerce, food platform, e-wallet) and their operation/ model
  • Having direct experience or knowledge of ON channels in FMCG and Food Aggregators is a plus
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and delivering results. 
  • Track record of developing and managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously.
  • Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and meet deadlines; proven track record in achieving set objectives.
  • Pro-active, creative, smart, resourceful and resilient self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative and innovation are required. 
  • High energy level is essential, dedicated work ethic. 
  • Ability to adapt to evolving role and responsibilities; open to new learning opportunities.
  • Strong desire to continually improve work processes, systems and deliver against agreed objectives
  • Good knowledge of the industry, competitors, customers and trade dynamics
