About your role
To lead the development and execution of consumer research strategies to understand consumer behaviors, preferences, and trends that provide the insight and foresight to guide product development, marketing strategies, and overall brand decisions. The role is critical to support building up of the Strategic Brand Plans and Annual Operating Plans of SPVB across categories.
What You'll Do
- Identify the strategic possibilities for business to capitalize on by offering the insights and foresights of LRB, proactively identifying consumer and market trends, and using this information to deliver tactical opportunities for category and brands.
- Lead different brand researches (brand researches, product innovation, brand health, consumer panel, 6W, U&A, segmentation, media,communication building etc.) to deliver fact based, objective views of the business, provide credible insights and recommendations for Marketing to plan their business across the marketing mix of the 6Ps, taking into account emerging trends in media usage, retailing, marketing etc.
- Lead the brand diagnostic and audit proces to facilitate MTP/JBP / AOP development and act as advisor and consultant to brand and category team in building up the SBP (Strategic Brand Plan) and AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
- Utilize budget to design cost effective research programs
- Manage the partnerships with the qualified research agencies to ensure the Company receives satisfactory standards of service and reports.
- Lead, develop, coach and motivate CI team to build on research capabilities and expertise and to ensure the team’s resources are used effectively and its work schedule and targets are successfully met.
- Closely manage the interaction with Regional CI/category accordingly to RACI to ensure the smooth cooperation, maximize the outcome with speed. Also need to feed local insights into the workstreams led by regional team to ensure locally relevant research outcomes.
- Be in-charge of ad-hoc requests, analysis preparation for BOD/visitor visit where relevant to in-charge categories
- Drive CI capability via having CI fundamental training to the team (Growth navigator, Brand health tracking, Household panel and all other consumer / brand related capabilities )

- Bachelor graduation in relevant majors
- CI skills in understanding market research fundamental, mastering market research techniques, brining integrated consumer & shopper insights into the business and showing the business how and where to win
- At least 10 year work experience in market research with at least 05 years in managerial level and experience in leading team
- Good analytical, insight generation and story-telling skills
- Passion for consumer, customer and brands
- Insight, curious & creative
- Ability to influence and drive actions forward
- Advanced English
- Office working (word, excel, presentation, email…)
