Accounting Manager - Warehouse and Logistics

Role:

- This role is to manage the transportation & WH management for the respective 3PL (including specific locations, internal transfer and all logistics projects) with timely and accurate recognition expenses of Transportation ( Inbound & outbound) & 3PL WH service.
- Review 3PL's performance vs. KPI design to ensure their commitment on KPI's deliver in line & mapping with contract term/SOP statement.

Job Responsibilities

1.    Financial Control, Asset Stewardship and Business Partnership

  • Prepare monthly closing reports for respective 3PL WH and transportation services. Book accrual and tightly keep track on accrual fall-in and fall-out.
  • Analyze & comment the movement Opex trend of Logistic expenses, cost per case and ensure them in compliance with business trend, VAS and   company policy.
  • Timely & accurately prepare financial Reports , keep key role to the periodic  balance sheet review for respective  accounts of  Logistic, transportations.

2.    Financial Reporting

  • Daily review incomplete internal transfer transactions to investigate non-routine cases to improve the leading time delivery & ensure OTIF to receivers. Verify all Primary transportation cost. Check DIFOT report and ensure data accuracy.
  • Review 3PL services & Transportation (In/Out) for payment verification and confirmation.
  • Review 3PL services and performan+B1ce to finalize expense claims & allowance rebate as per KPI defined in contract term.
  • Give input to business partners (Planning and Procurement) about both finance and control matters to improve contractual terms and simplify Logistics procedures.

 3.    Financial Transaction Processing

  • Support in operation audits/tax health check with full documentations, evidences as required .
  • Perform self test for Logistic transactions/documentations in line with GCS agenda required by IC Dept.  

  4.    Compliance

  • Well partner with Logistics team and 3PL staff  in cascading new policy or refreshment workshop for 3PL's process/SOP change update.
  • Liaise with 3PL, Procurement, Logistics and AP teams to drive for process improvement projects and automation projects (ePOD, auto-accrual on Fiori, invoice reduction, payment process simplification...)
  • Perform plant/DC tour visit & GEMBA to ensure compliance of 3PL's process ( WH's service & transportation) & financial control in place.   

   5.    Developing self and others

  • Participate in physical count process such as inventory&DC and FA/SPP, FA labelling, FA idle asset and FA idle bidding collaboration on-site in assigned location

Your Team

  • University graduate, major in Accounting & at least 4-year experience in similar roles
  • Strong technical understanding and knowledge including accounting standard, tax, legislation, company policy and procedures.
  • Strong system knowledge and fluent usage of ERP system
  • Good Excel and other Microsoft Office Skill (e.g Pivot Table, charts, Dashboard, PowerPoint) 
  • Good communication, problem solving & influencing skill
  • Ability to work under time pressure, work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn and improve effectiveness in daily operation
  • High integrity and acting with due diligence
