About your role

  • Handle payment for nationwide, ensuring the accuracy and compliance with State Bank of Vietnam, Tax laws and company proceduresof such payments for both of local and oversea payments.
  • Follow up all payments such as payments to vendors, T&E claim, etc. have been obtained signatures and approved on internet banking system followed by bank mandate by appropriate levels. Coordinate with bank officers to ensure such payments to be processed on time.

What You'll Do

1. Treasury Transaction Processing:
- Be responsible to verify and ensure compliance with State Bank of Vietnam for overseas payment, clarify with banker is needed. 
2. Payment Processing:
- Monitor payment batches run by system. Receive invoices for payments nationwide, verify for the correctness between information contained in the AP master file of vendor and supporting docs to ensuring the accuracy and validity of such payments for both of local and oversea payments.
- Timely ensure all payments such as payments to vendors, T&E claim, etc. have been obtained signatures and approved on internet banking system followed by bank mandate by appropriate levels. Coordinate with bank officers to ensure such payments to be processed on time.
- In charge to investigate all returned payment due to wrong beneficiary (if any). Coordinate with PIC to correct and re-effect the payment by sending amendment or re-payment.
- Ensure compliance with State Bank of Vietnam, Tax laws and company procedures, costs are strictly controlled.
- Update the payment date to users/suppliers (if requested). 
- Prepare and maintain tracking payment file, coordinate with AP team to ensure data are correct and no mismatch and no lost document.
- Archive monthly payment documents in compliance with company policies.
- Manage the corporate credit card lifecycle,including card issuance, limit adjustments, and account closures.

3. Month-end activities:
- Maintain accounting cash books and make sure bank reconciliation is performed without errors or un-accuracy.
- Ensure accuracy of reports for internals team and ad-hoc reports.
- Analyst and track the key performance indicator related to payment processing.
4. Partnership and Develop others:
- Perform duties and special projects as assigned by manager.
- Encourages and facilitates implementation of improvements and development related to team members.
5. Other tasks assigned by Line Manager

What You need to be successful

  • Finance/Business/Banking bachelor degree from accredited university. MBA and/or Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in treasury & financial industry with at least 2 years in a managerial role in FMCG/MNC.
  • Demonstrated financial knowledge of Banking and Finance fields.
  • Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable.
  • Able to follow standard filing procedures.
  • Experience with ERP eg SAP. Experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to learn and improve effectiveness in daily operation
  • High integrity and acting with due diligence.
  • Excellent English.
  • Strong Excel / modeling skills and MS Power Point
