What You'll Do
1.Be representative Planning team in benchmarking and negotiation of key projects or contract renewal (regard to
Warehouse, Transportation) through deeply business understanding, providing insightful costing model, competitive analyses
and various scenarios.
2. Lead evaluation work to recommend Go or No-Go decision, particular:
- Integrate financial & non-financial factors into overall cost – benefit consideration to assess feasibility & acceptability level
- Provide ad-hoc analytical and financial support for any projects to deliver the seamless business results
- Lead financial evaluation in medium/small cost reduction project, support Productivity team in big project during idea filtering
stage before submission.
- Conduct post-evaluation review to realize benefit and get learning for opportunities in other areas.
3. Financial Budgeting, AOP and FC for SC Cost
- Lead modeling and budgeting cycle MTP (Mid-term Plan), AOP & Forecast Rolling, providing various insightful analysis to
identify Opportunities and Risk, highlight the key drivers to deliver Profit Target
- Leading the standard cost planning for SC on quarterly basic
4. Performance Management for SC Cost
- Lead month-end closing process, all weekly, monthly, quarterly & yearly reporting packages and ensure accurate/timely
creation of management reports, dashboards and executive presentations
- Prepare & maintain database to support SC performance review across functions, OR, official performance presentation,
outlook updates, month-end closing
- Provide Cause of change analysis on actual vs. target & last year performance and vs. standard cost to ensure on target
execution. Conduct root-cause analysis and action plans to identify business drivers, improve forecast accuracy and
investigate variance for improvement and adjust Standard Cost (if any)
- Extend the deep-dive analysis on SC cost down to SKUs level and benchmarking across with comparable by DCs
- Facilitate decision making for management in cost efficiency across Line/Plant/DC
5. Finance Business Partner for Supply Chain to drive Productivity and Efficiency
- Be the business partner with Supply Chain team on the day-to-day basis to provide timely support in delivering its Must Win
Battles agenda
- Collaborate with Business Partners to deliver productivity agenda for Move category
- Be Planning representative as financial advisor for key Supply Chain optimization projects.
6. Supply Chain Strategic Planning
- Be finance advisor of SC team to develop DC footprint analysis, together with supporting Manufacturing footprint.
Recommend actions based on financial justification and balance between high level analysis of supply & demand
- Provide support to drive efficiency in Sales & Operation planning to minimize write-off & optimize inventory levels across
locations in order to optimize P&L and WC management
- Cooperate with Supply Planning team to project primary transportation cost, warehouse cost for SNOP cycles
7. Standard Cost Planning: be responsible to prepare & review input for standard cost for Logistics Standard costing and
COC on quarterly basis for:
+ SNOP production volume/ primary volume
+ Determine primary volume/Primary cost based on analyses of both past and projected operating cost and conditions.
+ Prepare WH cost standard by SKU level with estimating the costs, preparing budgets for future periods, and analyzing of
variance vs actual
What You need to be successful
- 5+ years’ experience in Management Accounting/Financial Planning or Finance field, experience with
FMCG is a plus
- 2+ years at managerial positions
- Very strong analytical; ability to leverage management accounting systems and databases in creative
ways to maximum advantage required
- Strong business acumen and continuous improvement mindset
- Effective interpersonal relations skills promoting teamwork and collaborative alliances required.
- Proactive; able to work independently and be a good communicator, team player
- An ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and externally.
- Customer oriented mindset
