About your role
- Business partner for CAPEX management by partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate investment proposals, monitor project capitalization and spending performance, and provide financial insights that optimize resource allocation and maximize business value.
- Financial management of Budgeting/Forecasting cycles and Actual reporting of CAPEX Capitalization/Cash flow/Depreciation to ensure quality performance review for effective decision-making process.
- Finance advisor to stakeholders on accounting treatment, budgeting guidelines, financial assumptions/implications and other related business insights/implications
What You'll Do
*Performance Management
- Monitor and control CAPEX spending against approved budgets by tracking actual expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities across projects/locations/categories.
- Track, analyze, and forecast CAPEX capitalization and Project cash flow to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Monitor project execution progress and coordinate monthly CAPEX capitalization/recognition activities, including reviewing project status, providing comments, and following up with stakeholders on outstanding actions.
- Manage end-to-end project cash flow forecasting to ensure forecast accuracy and timely visibility of investment spending.
*Partnering & Budget Approval
- Partner with business functions (Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, G&A, and IT) to support annual budget planning (AOP) and CAPEX investment prioritization.
- Review Capital Appropriation Requests (CARs) and challenge project assumptions to ensure investment proposals deliver appropriate financial and non-financial benefits in line with company strategy and regional guidelines.
- Support business partners in preparing and submitting CARs through online and offline approval processes.
- Facilitate CAPEX transfers and approval workflows in compliance with the company's Schedule of Authority (SOA) and CAPEX governance requirements.
*Finance Advisory & Other Support
- Act as a finance business partner by providing financial analysis and insights to support investment decision-making and optimize capital allocation.
- Evaluate project business cases, financial returns, and investment performance to ensure effective utilization of CAPEX resources.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis, reports, and management presentations as required by the Line Manager.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen CAPEX planning, governance, reporting, and control processes.

What You need to be successful
- University graduate. BSc degree in Finance, Accounting preferred
- Capable in analyzing existing environments in order to identify improvement opportunities.
- Working experience in FMCG/ Big4 and 2-3 years hands-on experiences in any analytical position in Finance field are preferred.
- Detailed understanding of accounting standards, import tax, withholding tax, financial payment terms.
- Presentation skill
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills;
- Confident self-starter, quick-learner, assertive about tracking down information and asking questions.
- Must take initiative to learn tasks and perform work independently;
- Strong work ethic;
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated;
- Good communicator and team player;
- Highly responsible, result-oriented.
- Good at English skills;
- Strong Excel / modeling skills and MS Power Point;
