About your role
As our Finance Business Partner, you will provide on-going quality, accurate financial information and support to the Ireland business and its stakeholders. You will be a key member of a high performing, delivery focused Finance team and gain valuable experience in Commercial Finance and cross functional teamwork.
In 2019, SBFI also took over the distribution of the Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) Range in the Irish market. As such, you will also gain exposure to well-known brands such as Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Connemara Whiskey and many others.
What You'll Do
Preparation, analysis and circulation of bi-monthly financial forecasts for Soft Drinks and SGS business
Business Partnering with Commercial teams to drive insight, understanding and performance
Ownership of the SGS Month End reporting process and business partnering with relevant stakeholders locally and externally on all aspects of financial performance
Daily Sales Reporting and circulation to the wider business
Support the Commercial FBP and influence Customer Business Managers (CBMs) to ensure effective governance and oversight of trade spend accruals is maintained
Financial analysis and interrogation of internal sales performance vs external market data
Support the Annual Operating Plan process
Monthly reporting on Actual Advertising & Promotional Expense vs Budget
Business Partnering with Brand teams to prepare and challenge budgets and forecasts for dvertising & Promotional spend and conduct variance analysis with commentary.
Engage in and drive process improvement initiatives to achieve greater automation of the end-to-end reporting process
Local business support for P2P Process
Provide ad-hoc commercial finance support to the business as required

What You need to be successful
Financial acumen – experienced accountant with a proven track record; Minimum of 2 years’ experience within FMCG or equivalent practice experience dealing with FMCG clients
Strong, demonstrable working knowledge of SAP
A strong understanding of the commercial environment
Demonstrate ability to develop strong relationships and impact people and work cross functionally with other departments
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change
Significant and relevant professional experience within FMCG a bonus.
Track record of consistently delivering brilliant results

Key competencies
Delivering results: Taking deep accountability for results and ensuring others are clear and held accountable as well. Challenging and supporting the business to deliver on our KPI’s, e.g. NSV/L, GP%. Strong prioritisation and organisation skills also essential as this is a demanding role.
Strategic thinking: Must keep the overall Commercial Strategy (i.e. Revenue Growth Management) in mind and be the voice of the strategy ensuring we are executing in line with the RGM principles and the overall Company strategic priorities.
