Logistic Automated Platform Manager

Job Summary

The logistics platform manager supervises the activities of our warehouse. It ensures the proper operation and performance of the warehouse (in & out flows as defined in our contractual commitments, capacity management, budget management and all related contracts: lease, maintenance, service). 
 

Job Responsibilities

- Interface between automated warehouse and Donnery’s supply chain

-Be the first level contact for Donnery and 3PL logistics in the smooth running of activities.

- Strong start-up support mission (“start-up” management). 4 months before Go live and 6 months after: link with the plant for training, tests, implementation of transverse procedure and resolution of operational points.

- Maintenance of a review of the factory/depot interfaces with the animation of improvement actions.

- Supervision of the 3PL, of the relationship with the lessor and other suppliers (maintenance contract in particular).

- Implementation of an activity review. Ensure that the 3PL has in place adequate management of inventory, systems, documentation base and SBFF or warehouse/premises specific Q&S procedures.

- Drive results, validate invoices, challenge suppliers and implement continuous improvement actions.
- Operational management of O2 to integrate it into the central supply chain:
- Coordination of flows, monitoring the load plan and ensuring good communication with various internal and external services. 
- Become the SBFF logistics expert for automated warehouses and be able to lead SC (new technology) transformation projects.

Your Team

You will be working alongside the Director of the site and the Head of Logistic 

Internal communications with different teams : Factories, Purchasing, R&D, IT, Finance, Engineering.

Externally: automated warehouse operator (3PL), warehouse lessor, maintenance service providers, customers

Skills and Experience

- Minimum Bac+3 with significant field experience confirmed in logistics and with a strong technical/system appetite.
- Experience in 3PL management, experience in project management.
- Able to exchange with the interlocutors mechanization and maintenance.
- Being able to convince and show leadership in leading steering committees. 
- Be rigorous, synthetic, autonomous, know how to challenge suppliers, be very good communicators, take initiatives and decisions.
-Proficiency in English is essential for the evolving part of the position.
