Corporate Affairs Manager - Government Relations

Job Summary

a) Build and protect SPVB corporate positive image and improve our corporate brand value year on year with Government and Public stakeholders. Advocate for SPVB/industry issues to support business interests: 
• External stakeholder’s engagement with Government agencies at central and provincial levels following all "COC and SPVB Values" guidelines.
• External stakeholder’s engagement with NGOs, Commerce chambers, industries, and partners. Single window for all GR/PR external communications by leveraging inputs from functions. 
b) Create a positive corporate image through central/provincial PR programs.
c) Lead advocacy of industry issues and anything specifically negatively impacts SPVB.

Job Responsibilities

1. Stakeholders engagement: 

• Engage and develop good relationships with Government agencies to support the corporate's business and image
• Own engagement agenda with NGOs, commerce chambers, industries, and partners... which impact SPVB's image and business.
• Lead interactions with provincial authorities wherever SPVB has plants. 
• Serve as key contact for GR/PR-related networking.

2. Build the corporate image:

• Build and lead effective PR agenda at central/provincial levels with external stakeholders
• Lead and engage with local Sales/field managers on location PR agenda by inputting on strategy.

3. Advocacy:

• Advocacy projects (tax, industrial policy...) with Government agencies (central and provincial), NGOs, commerce chambers, industries, partners...
• Monitor Government's new relevant policy, assess the possible impact and proactively advise/advocate. 
• Expedite government approvals of business initiatives (promotions, pricing, capacity expansion, investment extension, advertising...).

4. Planning and executing budget:

• Lead GR/PR planning process (AOP, Strategic plan) and the flawless delivery of the same. 
• Budget management: control and monitor to ensure effective use of GR/PR's annual budget.
• Risk and efficiency management to improve GR/PR. 
• Be responsible to build the capacity of the GR/PR organization to deliver GR/PR and the whole CA agenda

Your Team

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree, and additional certificates are preferable 

At least 5 years of related experiences
At least 2 years in a managerial position

Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication/presentation skills 
Mature & Confidentiality
Networking & liaison skill is a must 

Computer skill: proficient in using Office software

Fluent English: writing, reading, & speaking
