As a Production Manager at Suntory GB&I Coleford Manufacturing Site, you are a dynamic leader with a passion for excellence in manufacturing. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the manufacturing process runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your efforts directly impact the quality of the products, the satisfaction of customers, and the overall profitability of the company. YOUR ROLE

You will ensure a safe working environment by promoting safe practices and adhering to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, as well as Quality and HACCP regulations.

You will manage all aspects of line performance, including safety, quality, and environmental compliance, ensuring that production lines operate efficiently and meet performance targets.

Embracing our “Yatte Minahare” (“Go for it”) mindset, you will lead the team to deliver the agreed weekly production plan within the planned resource budget and timeframe, ensuring production schedules are met and resources are utilized effectively.

Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement within the production line by challenging existing practices and applying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency at Coleford.

WHAT YOU BRING

You possess a solid background and working knowledge in HNC or an equivalent numerate discipline in Operations Management, ideally with a 6 Sigma Green Belt or equivalent qualification. Your expertise in managing a complex plant and resources within an FMCG environment, coupled with substantial experience in manufacturing or a similar field, is highly valued.

You have a passion for change and excel at solving complex issues, assimilating information, and making appropriate decisions under pressure, even during challenging conversations. Your ability to engage in meaningful discussions and drive effective solutions is a key strength.

Highly organized and proficient in planning, you effectively use tools such as Microsoft Office programs to manage tasks and projects efficiently.
